Introduction

Part of my first semester of graduate studies focused on early research on my thesis area of interest. My interest is in design education. This project focuses on benchmarking creative work environments within the design industry. With the goal to implement industry practices within academia.

Identifying Creative Work Environments

A mix of literature review, existing knowledge and AI helped narrow down my list to 10. After identifying the 10 creative work environments I looked at coding each as collaborative, corporate, dynamic and/or flexible. Then I ended up with 4 groups based on the codes for each environment.
