Introduction

This project focused on creating a co-design research plan. With the end goal to have a comprehensive plan that could be passed on to researchers to execute. My topic was to look at how to optimize hybrid learning within design education.

The Methods

Establishing methods was a crucial step in this plan. After identifying the usual objective, problem, focus/scope, etc. I needed to set what methods would be used.

Below are the five methods which are explained in-depth. Being thorough allowed me to articulate what the methods are, how they are meant to be conducted, and why they were chosen.

Phase 1 - Individual Methods

The first phase focuses on the individual. In that we want to both pilot our methods with a smaller sample while also collecting initial data to impact the group methods (phase 2). In this phase we focus on the first 4 methods (conversation, immersion workbook, card sort and experience mapping).
